Hello everyone! Boy do we have news for you - let's get right into it!
Two new team members!
@LSAxiv & @capricornisus have recently joined the team, and there may be another member joining us very soon but you'll have to wait until the next devlog for that ;)
@LSAxiv has joined us as an environment artist, and he immediately got to work on bringing Nouvion to life!
@capricornisus joined us as a 3D artist focusing on weapons and vehicles. She will be assisting @Siniht and they've been hard at work on the G43 model!

More work on Nouvion
@LSAxiv has been hard at work on more enviroment assets for Nouvion. He's currently working on the train station and a system for easy creation of train tracks.
Progress has been going slow and steady and I'm looking forward to sharing more of the map in the coming future!

Pause, Settings and Squads!
As part of our work lately, we've been focused on concepting & building out features surrounding gameplay.
Pause & Squad Menu
As part of this work, we've been concepting the pause and squad menu. We'd love to hear what you think!

Settings Menu and Controller Support
More importantly, @Encodic has been working on designing and implementing the pause menu in the game. Work has progressed steadily, and we're at the point where we can show a complete implementation. This even includes advanced features such as input remapping, which has allowed us to integrate basic controller support into the project.
Here's how it looks in game! (keep in mind some options shown are only visible to developers)

First steps to internal testing
Following @Robin fixing a critical bug that was slowing development down, @Encodic has been able to finish and successfully run the first internal test of multiplayer functionality.
There is still a lot of work to do before any external testing happens, but having this working will aid us massively in making sure things work as intended online, and is nonetheless a huge milestone for the project. With networked multiplayer working, we can move our focus to improving existing gameplay features, and building new ones.

Occupation of Netherlands
As you may be aware, we recently organized a trip to Netherlands. A major part of our trip was visiting the Overloon war museum, which opened in 1946 and still functions to this day!
We were lucky to have a chance to witness how war affected the town of Overloon, hear stories from people who survived the war (and their descendants) and to truly see how the war was experienced by the local residents. We also had an unprecedented chance to take a lot of images to use for reference, both in terms of US and German war equipment but also preserved examples of environments and propaganda from the war period.
We hope you'll enjoy these pictures we took during the trip :)

That's it for now, I'm sorry the devlog took so long to publish. I was incredibly busy after returning home and had some unforeseen issues with Adobe software preventing me from getting the pictures ready for the devlog.
