Over the following months we're planning to focus on making the game playable in it's most basic version, and make it all work in multiplayer! Aside from that we have a new team member, @Robin, who's been kind enough to introduce himself in the text below :D Our team is slowly expanding so we can keep up with development and get it in your hands sooner rather than later ;) New Team Member Hey ev

Hello! My apologies for being quiet over the past few months. We decided to take some time off from working on Warbound and spend it with our friends and family as well as run the Christmas Livestream and giveaway. We are, however, once again back and resuming at full speed! So, what have we been up to? Restructuring and improving the foundational code As our project has grown and we approach the basis of a functional multiplayer framework, we've gone through our existing codebase with a f

Hello and welcome to this months devlog. Tough to crack bugs. A big chunk of past month was spent fixing mission-critical weapon bugs related to shooting and reloading weapons that caused game crashes. While tedious and draining @Encodic did manage to squish them, allowing us to proceed forward with developing other important features that need to be worked on before we can start play-testing the game. Weapon attachment/modification system @Encodic began working on the weapon attachment sy

Hello everyone! I hope you've all had (or are having!) a great summer! While the heat in my country may have been a bit intolerable this year and the AC had to work pretty much 24/7 we all managed to survive. @Cptnight00 is back in action and is already making progress on making more models, @Ellie finished up the Gameplay Experience system and got sent off to walk across Europe in order to do field research and had a lovely holiday, @Levi has been making progress on back-end systems that will

Hello! The previous month has been rather eventful for us, @Cptnight00 has been busy with moving to a new house, @Ellie was working on her master's and I had to take an urgent medical trip to Germany! Despite that I'm happy to report we have been making progress on both the game and something new for Discord! The Crouch & Prone mechanic @Encodic has been an absolute GOAT and worked hard on finalising the code for the Crouch & Prone mechanic. In terms of gameplay, it's pretty much done and ha

Hello, welcome to this month's devlog! As per usual, we're going over what we've been working on during the previous month. So let's get right in! Back-end Code During the previous month @Encodic & @Ellie have been hard at work in their programming basement. Their current focus is on "boilerplate code", essentially the foundations systems that we can use to build the rest of the game on. There's still much more to do but we are making great progress! Now unless you'd like to read a few hundr

Greetings, and welcome to WARBOUND's first devlog. It's been a month since our departure from Hellborne and we've been hard at work pushing the project forward as well as implementing some important changes in the way the project is organised under the name Project Inferno. WARBOUND As you can tell we're re-branding the game to WARBOUND! This was a team decision and before committing to the name we've also invited our Supporters to participate in an open-meeting with the developers to sugge
